With ISARIA PRO Active, the application agents are applied exactly where they are needed.
Isaria is not just a precision fertilisation system, but a precision farming system developed by Fritzmeier of Germany in collaboration with European universities. It uses scanners on the ends of booms placed in front of tractors or similar equipment to scan the field 2000 times per second, or about 500m2 of field every second, and transmits the information in real time to the fertiliser spreader's rate control system. The scanning is based on the reflection of LED lights. As the scanning is done perpendicularly from above, the result is always accurate, regardless of the time of day or the growth rate. Additional accuracy is obtained by introducing a background map.
From satellite images to crop maps!
The application can be used to layer data from ten previous years of satellite imagery into a crop map, showing where in the field each year there is good growth potential and where there is not. This information can be used to avoid unnecessary homogenisation of areas with no growth potential and to avoid under-fertilisation of areas with excellent growth potential. This will maximise the yield of the field, but will not waste expensive nutrients.
