Köckerling Trio - compact three-row cultivator

Manufacturer : Köckerling

Köckerling Trio - compact three-row cultivator.

Trio stands for the compact three-row cultivator with lifting device fittings. Its spacious design and high body height (85 cm) make it a highly permeable cultivator that can cope with hard ground. Both the vertical tip and the wing blade are in a tearing position, i.e. pointing upwards. This improves the soil turning and prevents the formation of a protrusion. The wing blade is intended to be driven to a depth of 5 to 12 cm and it is recommended to work deeper than this with the vertical blade alone. The wing blades are attached to the ditch with a single bolt, making them easy to remove if necessary.

Trio can be commonly used for the following tasks:

  • Soil aeration and aeration by shaping the soil to a depth of up to 30 cm
  • First shallow stubble cutting after harvest (5-12 cm)
  • Second bed pruning for sowing a collector plant (10-20 cm)
  • Manure mulching
  • Preparing forage crops in spring

Equipment:

TopMix: Trio cultivators are equipped with a TopMix blade as standard. They can be used with a variety of vertical tips. For consuming countries we recommend the use of carbide tips. Goose feet improve the tillage result when moulding low - especially when moulding stubble in spring.

Levelling: spring levellers work well for basic tillage on most types of soil. If you have soft soil types, or particularly high levels of plant debris or volunteer wheat, the levelling discs will roll the tufts out nicely.

Packer: The Double STS, or Das Original, is a U-disc packer developed by Köckerling himself. It works on all types of soil and makes a good mark, even if the soil to be worked is wet. However, it adds length and moves the centre of gravity further back. It has two positions. In the upper hole, it runs with the front row of packers higher up, leaving a fluffier surface, which means it permeates water better and also stays on the surface better on soft soils. In the lower hole, both rows of packers have the same pressure, so you get a flat seedbed. The alternative is a single row U-disc packer and a pipe packer.

13 mm strong spikes can be installed behind the packer. When seed drilling, it improves the working trail, allowing the seed to be sown directly into the cultivated field.
