Manufacturer : Lucas G
Spirmix S 1 screw 8-14 m³
The Spirmix S range of single-screw mixers includes 6 models from 8 to 14 m3. These mixers have been developed to provide compact aeration with a low overall height. These mixers can feed herds of 30-75 cows at a time.
There are three different models. The basic model has a hatch on the front right and an optional hatch on the rear left. The second model is a model with a front discharge chute that can be split on both sides. The third option is the Jet, with a two-speed discharge chute. It can be used at low speed to drain the ape into a feeding trough, for example, and at high speed to dry out the permafrost. Of course, the Jet model also has a discharge chute on the front right as standard and can also be fitted on the rear left as an option.
SMOOTH, ROUND-ROLLED WALLS
The material moves better in a smooth-rolled trolley because there is less friction. As a result, the ape mixes faster and more efficiently. The power required to rotate the mixture is reduced and fuel consumption per batch is reduced. The flat, flared shape means that a homogeneous mixture can be obtained more quickly. The circular design of the tank also extends the life of the trolley.
THE STAIR-STEP VERTICAL SCREW PRODUCES AN EVEN, AIRY MIXTURE
Lucas G staggered vertical screws have a unique shape that allows shredding of the material in the mixture and stairs that lift the components, which enhance the mixing of the dose to achieve perfect homogeneity. The vertical screws are equipped with six knives as standard. It is possible to use eight or ten knives per reel and to adjust their cutting angle to increase the aggressiveness and thus cut the fibre more quickly. The blades of the screws have a tungsten carbide coating and are reversible for longer life
RELIABLE TRANSMISSION
Each auger is driven by a planing gear mounted in the middle of the auger for better stability and reduced lateral resistance during mixing. These gearboxes have been tested for intensive use and are individually protected by a break bolt to prevent damage.
REINFORCEMENT OF THE TANK BOTTOM
All vertical screw wagons are equipped with a tank bracket to prevent the bottom from warping and breaking even if bales and/or feed packages are dropped during loading. It limits the pressure on the transmission and load cells during the transfer and loading phases to prevent damage.
REPLY
The mixers are equipped as standard with two oversized and manual counter-blades with a width of 85 cm. They are located behind the hopper on the right and in front on the left. These counterblades are adjustable to five positions to speed up the long fibre cutting process. Alternatively, the machine can be equipped with hydraulic counterblades.
