Samson SD II - Transforming multain

The SD II is a new version of the SD multitasker. It is now lighter, the pressure point has moved closer and many other parameters have been improved.

Applying slurry to a bed with a lot of plant material on the surface, such as rye or winter wheat, challenges the structure and technology of the mulcher. SD II is designed to optimise the mulching properties of slurry in a rich plant mass. The SD II mulcher is available in 5, 6 and 7 m widths.

The SD II also has the advantage that the sludge is placed directly in the soil and is not blown away with other material. The injector can therefore work with relatively dry material and remain clean and dry. This minimises problems of moisture penetration into bearings and joints, which increases the life of the machine.
