MU-PRO/S Vario

This is a crusher that takes the concept of coarseness in side crushers to a new level. It has the largest reach to the side in its class - as much as 4.45m from the tractor centre line. Transmission is via bevel gears, which has allowed the dimensions of the articulated axles to be kept within reasonable limits. Working width 2.5m - power requirement 200hp.

Side crushers

The front/rear crushers have power take-offs and adaptors on each side of the machine and can be used at either end as required. If the crusher is used in front lift applications, it can be fitted with an optional MU-SOFA system, which is a form of active floatation. It allows the weight of the machine to be transferred to the front axle, making it easier to turn and preventing the crusher from sinking into the field. This
reduce the stress on the support roller or wheels. Working widths range from 1.2m machine to 8.6m fly.
