Typhoon - Raytec Vision optical bulkheads

Typhoon is an optical sorting machine with the highest resolution cameras to inspect the product on the conveyor belt. The system is best suited for inspecting food products in pulp or liquid form, such as fruit pulp, crushed or extruded tomatoes or fruit pulp cubes and tomatoes.

Typhoon can dispose of discolouration, marked products and foreign objects that are also the same colour as a good product. The product is fed onto the inspection belt to form a light layer. The inspection zone is clearly separated from the removal zone to avoid spraying of the product, which can impair selection over time.

The Typhoon is equipped with a rejection system with vacuum suction. Depending on the size of the product particles, the rejection system can be equipped with 64, 88, 128 or 176 ejection nozzles. The diameter of the ejection nozzles always varies according to the size of the product particles, from a minimum of 8 mm to a maximum of 25 mm.

The Typhoon can be equipped with a single ejector system or it can have two reject systems to select fine and cubed pulp.
