Discovery - Raytec Vision optical bulkheads

Discovery is an optical sorting machine that uses high-resolution cameras to inspect products on the conveyor.

It is suitable for quality control of whole or cut agricultural products such as fruit and vegetables. The machine detects colour defects, marked products and foreign objects.

Discovery uses NIR technology, visible light analysis, chlorophyll analysis, translucency analysis and shape analysis. It has an air blast system with 288 electrically controlled valves.

The machine offers high production capacity, significant labour savings and continuous performance analysis.
