Raynbow - Raytec Vision optical bulkheads

Raynbow is an optical sorting machine with high-resolution sensors that analyses 100 % from the surface of each product. It is used to inspect agri-food products such as fruit and vegetables.

Raynbow can also dispose of discoloured, marked products and foreign objects in the same colour as a good product. The product is fed by a conveyor belt, which is used to stabilize the product so that it does not roll away. This allows all products to be inspected and, if necessary, removed when they have the same conditions in both the visual and reject areas.

Raynbow has a rejection system with electro-pneumatic or air-activation with electrically controlled exhaust valves. It may have a single rejection system, or in a 3-way mode, there may be two rejection systems to separate unserviceable products from failures considered as second choice.
