Spray - Raytec Vision optical bulkheads

The spray is an optical sorter equipped with very high resolution cameras that inspects the product on a conveyor belt. The system is dedicated to the control of whole or cut agri-food products: fruits and vegetables.

The spray can reject discolouration, rotten products and foreign objects, even if they are the same colour as a good product.

The product is fed onto the inspection belt, which is designed to stabilise the product so that it does not roll. The inspection area is well separated from the removal area so that product segregation does not compromise the range over time.

The spray is equipped with an air exhaust system with 176 electrically controlled exhaust valves. It can have one rejection system or, in 3Way mode, two rejection systems to separate unserviceable defects from those considered secondary products.

NIR technology allows you to detect the presence of rot and foreign objects. Visible colour analysis allows you to detect colour defects such as green products, yellowing, etc.

Chlorophyll analysis allows very accurate detection of foreign objects in products with high chlorophyll content (lettuce, peas, green beans).

Transparency analysis allows you to detect the presence of stones in dried fruit and contaminants facing the conveyor belt. Shape analysis is used to detect small particles in fruit and green beans. It also allows you to remove scraps because they are too small.

The machine identifies statistics on rejected products to analyse the quality of the raw materials selected.
